“After reading some iffy reviews on Monks Cowl, I was pleasantly suprised... delighted in fact. We stayed in chalet 39, alongside the little dam and close to the children's playground & thoroughly enjoyed our short two night stay, next time it'll be for longer. Location is fantastic for exploring Champagne Valley, and as a mountain biker it was great to get out of the front door onto the (short) Mountain Splendour trails next door without worrying about the car. Staff were super efficient when it came to assisting with the gas oven (we needed a few lessons) and happy to help with any requests.”
