“It's a great place to get away from it all. The landscaping is beautiful, well kept and surrounded by hills full of tea. The house feels like you step back in time, really! We slept really well too! Staff is very attentive and the food is well presented. If you come expecting Michelin type cuisine, you are in the wrong place. But if you relax your expectations a little you can enjoy and value all the positives. We travelled with our 3 yo daughter and she really enjoyed the gardens. The road is not that bad. We did it with a taxi without a problem.”

“Amazing place for a relaxing holiday. The staff did everything possible to make our stay absolutely comfortable. One should stay minimum 3 nights here. Also make sure you book a good taxi if you are coming from Colombo. The journey is almost 4-5 hours with breaks in between.The Tennis court have the best view possible and we have had a great time overall”
“The mansion is a lovely old colonial building which has been really well maintained. The grounds and surrounding tea plantation and hills are absolutely stunning. We were in the queue suite which I would recommend because it had large windows looking out over the back gardens and hills. The staff were friendly and attentive. Overall a great stay and would be happy to recommend.”
“The food served was fantastic home cooking. Everything on the menu was available. Lots of the vegetables were grown in their own vegetable plot. Staff were helpful, kind and knowledgable. The location was beautiful over looking the tea fields, and lots of walks!”
