“Nice to stay in a hotel that had a Chinese theme rather than just a big hotel. Like that it had a little shop selling drinks, chips etc. and all at very reasonable prices. Staff very friendly.”
“The location was excellent. Highly recommend rooms with a view of the Forbidden City.”
“Brilliant location. Large well appointed bedrooms. Clean. The senior concierge staff spoke English and were most helpful is getting us a car and driver to visit the Great Wall and the Ming tombs. A very good buffet breakfast.”
“The location is really great. It's just next to the forbidden city. Very near to train station and not too far from the shopping area.”
“I booked two rooms, I was told that one of rooms was upgraded. The location and services are both great.”
“Central location was excellent for the main attractions being only a short walk from the Forbidden City and Tianamann Square. It is also only a short walk from the underground station too which made seeing other attractions across the city easy. We are not used to underground's and found negotiating it easy.”
“The hotel is big and look good from outside as usual 5 Star hotel”
“Our room overlooked the Forbidden City and we were 10 minutes walk away from the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square. Ten minutes walk in the opposite direction gets you to Beijing's leading pedestrian shopping mall with hundreds of shops and restaurants. I have stayed in this hotel previously and still love it although some people say it is now a bit run down. I suppose in comparison with newly built gee whiz hotels it is but in my view that's an acceptable trade off for the best location in Beijing.”
“GREAT LOCATION, Staff is very helpful and the room is amazing.”
“The hotel is a fine 5 star first class hotel but old fashion. The price we paid (920 yuan) was OK considering the best possible location. It is the nearest hotel to Tianneman square and center of arts, national museum, forbidden city etc - which was the main reason we chose it.”
