“Excellent beds, very clean rooms and friendly staff. Unfortunately the bar and restaurant are closed on Sunday.”
“We arrived early afternoon, and as our room wasn't quite ready we were offered a cup of tea. Central location in the town, so we could easily explore on foot. We ate at a local brasserie as we didn't really want a big fancy meal in the hotel.”

“Brilliant, friendly staff. Check in receptionist very helpful with good English. Patrons in the morning very cordial, approachable and willing to assist or inform if you express request or interest. A building with some age and considerable charm as has the interior decor and objet d'art. I slept very well in a good size double bed in a spacious bedroom and the bathroom facilities modern and performed well in all respects. Good parking facilities and the restaurant looked popular and classy but I didn't dine during my stay due to time factors.”

“The room was clean and very tidy, towels not the normal flat sand paper type as in most chains, fluffy and great at absorbing water. Bed much better than most chain hotels, firm but really comfortable. Dinner excellent value and superbly cook and presented. Again better than very up market hotel I stay in Cognac 2 weeks ago, 3 times the price but no where there quality. Well done to Chief and the staff, all spoke good English and the owner of the hotel was always available.”
