“I called the hotel to inform them I’d be checking in after 9, Also I’d look for dinner informed that the restaurant closes at 9.30 I checked in at 9.30 went looking forward something to eat at 9.32 to be greeted with We are closed... I’d driven from Vik 4hours away My point is they were in no way going to look after a weary traveler sending me elsewhere with a smile and an apology I had to check out at 5am Where they had an amazing breakfast which even a piece offered the night before would have been wonderful I will not return But don’t think they will care”
“We are a family of 4 with 2 kids, they didnt have the available family room for us so they upgraded us to the Suite Room! Everything in the room was awesome. All equipped with high technology, remote control gadgets, felt like royalty! Best part is theres coffee/hot chocolate station everywhere , friendly staff and good buffet breakfast. Thank you and will defintely come back and tell our friends about this great hotel. BTW they offer free airport shuttle ride too , 10min ride to the airport and late check out (depending on room availability of course) overall we had a great stay!”
“When we arrived at the hotel, we were advised that the restaurant was closed, they receptionist said that there was a restaurant just down the road and when we got there it was the Icelandic equivalent to Mcdonalds only far worse!! Had we been informed prior to the booking that there was no restaurant we would not have booked! And to add to this the heating did not work in the morning so we woke up in a freezing cold room!!”

“Oh my, this small hotel is utterly charming. Not only is it absolutely spotless, but the decor has been artfully chosen-- down to little warm touches such as lighted candle displays at floor level- and lobby TVs showing a roaring log fire. We only got to stay one night but we found the beds very comfortable, the bathroom well-appointed, and all employees kind and welcoming. The attached restaurant is superb and staffed with lovely people, very proud (rightfully) of the cuisine and their country. It was a pleasure to stay here. Breakfast was varied and excellent--and an excellent value as it was included in the room price.”
