“This is a perfect place with a consumptious private beach, however you should book the first class rooms with terrace towards the lake. Dinner was of first quality, however in a high price level. All other Restaurants around (there are many) were closed already by termination of season.”

“Highly recommend a stay here. It wasn't the cheapest place but it was worth every penny. We had 1 room for a family of 4 & had a very comfortable stay. Place was spotlessly clean & staff couldn't do more (drying out our shoes after a canyoning trip) restaurant is excellent with a stunning lake view. Hotel has own parking too. Just book you won't be disappointed. ”

“The staff were friendly and efficient and there was a relaxed atmosphere. I'm assuming that the owners manage and treat their employees well. The owners were very pleasant and helpful when I met them. The restaurant is exceptional and has a good reputation locally - it was recommended to some family members staying at another location nearby. The gardens are large and lovely, extending down to the lake where there is a large lawn area with a few large trees for shade. The views are astounding. There is a very good boulangerie in the village. This is important :)”
“This was a lovely friendly old hotel but it has been given the boutique treatment. It is a glorious location, lovely gardens and fabuluous view, but now the property is aimed at the monied 30 - 50 year olds. An over priced restaurant, and the standard rooms are simply too small and an Ibis is better equipped. Do not book a standard room or you will be disappointed. Nice and helpful staff. Pay up and you will love it!”
