“The hotel was by the river we had asked for a room by the river which was on a busy town road it did quiet down during the night You are almost central to the town it is one of the best places I have visited you have a lot of old and new buildings lovely restaurants go out the hotel turn left we had two meals in the outside bar staff magic or pass the bar and walk down to the first canal lock We both really loved auxerre and we will be back”
