“The attention to detail, nothing was too much trouble. The cleanliness ,hospitality and the food were unbelievable. Located next to easy walks and climbs, no need to use the car .”

“i honestly could not rate this hotel any better... Donna and Gary were quite simply incredible, turning to every detail with genuine care. They clearly love their guests and what they do. Those 2 aside, the hotel was absolutely stunning, meanwhile the location was also fabulous, with just a 10 minute ride to Keswick. If staying again I'd definitely have the dinner inside the hotel... we did this on the first night and thought it was incredible, even attending to GF dessert requirements! We decided to have a local pub meal on the second night but spent most of it lamenting the fact we were probably missing out on another amazing meal back at the hotel! ah well - well know for next time! Gary / Donna - thank you for a genuinely perfect stay. You (and your small team of staff) run a fantastic hotel and were simply a pleasure to meet. We'll hope to see you again. Mark and Seshi”

We had dinner there 2/3 nights which was excellent value for money considering the amount and quality of the food. Bed was comfy, view beautiful and the bathroom immaculate. They also provided us with packed lunches which were plentiful and really saved us on some long walks!”
