“Stayed two nights, with intention of spending the day in Mt Cook National Park. Motel conveniently located for that. Just over an hour's drive to Mt Cook park, with easy drive to Dunedin the following day.”

“It's a personal thing, but Heritage Hotel gave me a unique and unforgettable memory because it was located in the middle of nowhere and it felt great to be away from city lights, noise, pollution, etc etc. To be honest, I didn't expect anything much from this place because the photos and location made me expect one of those expensive but dodgy accommodations that try really hard to fit the hotel criteria but fails to do that. And yes, it was kinda expensive compared to other accommodations I've been to (and I've been to EVERYWHERE) but the beds had clean sheets and was very comfortable, and it was such a relief to be sleeping in a clean warm bed after such a long day.”
