“Really cool little place. Each room themed and with books everywhere! The food selection in the restaurant was a bit limited, but made up for that by being excellent. Also they were very helpful when we turned up really early.”
“The location is beautiful, surrounded by green hills and quiet forests. It is also very close to the village centre, where one can enjoy local food or visit the castle, as well as the hiking routes to the lake and nearby nature park reserve. The hotel itself has a lovely quirky atmosphere with a literary inspiration (the name itself being a play on Lewis Carroll's "Through the Looking Glass") and sci-fi themes, which was refreshing to discover in the otherwise rural German surroundings. The staff is very accommodating and helpful, providing useful tips for discovering the area, and the breakfast was simple yet delicious.”

“We stayed here for two nights during our motortrip with 13 men. Although the hotel doesn't seems to be equiped for motor drivers on first site, the owners have a passion for driving a motor themselves. So it turned out, that they were fully capable of hosting a group of drivers and do so with few seen enthousiasm. We loved staying here en we would recommend everyone who is considering a stay in this hotel, to do so.”
