“Very nice hotel in a good location - a 15 minute walk to Retiro Train/Bus Station, 4 blocks to the Alem underground station, a 5 minute walk to the Buquebus/Seacat Terminal. The reception staff are excellent. The rooms are nice and clean, and (some) have a nice view onto the Ferry Terminal. The breakfast is fine. We had to get a couple of taxis while we were there and both taxis the hotel got for us were clean, with honest, friendly taxi drivers.”
“The bedroom is comfy, the bed is awesome! The air conditioner worked very well. The shower and the bath are great. There were tv cable, so we could watch different channels. The breakfast has different kinds of breads, several types of pastry, eggs, fruits, coffee, juice, yogurt. Amazing!”

“My preference is a well-run bed and breakfast or small inn with breakfasts that provide a sense of the unique area where I am. That said, it is sometimes a standard chain hotel that can sometimes be the best choice. This Holiday inn's location is perfect if you want to take the ferry to Colonia or Montevideo, Uruguay -- terminal is just a few blocks away. Also very convenient to Aeroparque airport. The desk staff speaks English -- no small advantage in a country and city where understanding English is surprisingly somewhat rare. Very helpful desk staff. They held our considerable baggage while we left for days at a time to explore Codoba, Salta, and other destinations -- again these domestic flights begin and end at Aeroparque. Great dining options within walking distance. Breakfast with eggs! Normal buffet breakfasts at other accomodations tend to carbs, and sweet pastries.”
