“Arriving in town in the evening, with nothing booked, our options were limited. I had hoped for a quaint little B&B in the center of town, but this Holiday Inn was available. It's a large, corporate-looking white box hotel, so I had low expectations. In the end, I was won over. The staff was unbelievably friendly and helpful. There is free parking. The restaurant and bar were excellent. This hotel is a cut above any Holiday Inn I've seen before. The kindness of the staff made all the difference. They could not have been nicer. I was told this was previously a Melia hotel, and most of the staff had stayed on.”

“Our room was huge and very comfortable. The bus stop is only 2 minutes (the metro stop is ca. 10 mins away by foot) On leaving for the airport we took the bus to town which takes a while but is more convenient with suitcases and got the metro connection at Casa de Musica.”
“I actually never write reviews but decided to write for this one as the staff exceeded my expectations. I was initially not happy with the accommodation as the air conditioning wasn't working in the hotel due to a bizarre rule that they only switch it on in the month of May and it was 26 degrees celcius and I had to sleep sweating all night long but on a positive note - Reception and front desk and all the staff were just way too helpful. Always a nice smile on their face and ready to go extra mile attitude made it up for air conditioning for me. Rodrigues at reception was simply excellent in his job and made sure he personally attended all my needs from the point I arrived, very professional and great guy! Overall, probably one of the best holiday inn I have stayed in a long time minus the AC. Definitely recommend to others. Dan”
