“Loved the various spaces we could sit within in the hotel. Lovely surroundings and view from our window.”
“A unique lodging experience in a 14th century monastery. The location is a little out of the way to get to, but well worth it!”
“Very simple accommodation but adequate. The location is superb right at centre of the town. Very quiet and a calm atmosphere, my reaction on arrival was to book an extra night. This allowed us time to explore the town using excellent guide books and maps from the information centre. A tour of the monastery was very good but no photos which does seem too restrictive as only a simple leaflet available in English which does not do justice to the magnificence of the building and exhibits. Tours are only in Spanish which also limiting. Saturday and Sunday the roads around the centre may be closed!!”
“Lovely place to stay and enjoy the courtyard and cloisters... Best to park in the top car park if you have bags....”
“Fantastic environment of an old monastery and pilgrimage site. Direct access to the Guadalupe church with the black madonna. Room was comfortable and large. Nice setting to have a drink at the bar or in the patio.”
“Fantastic location, wonderful atmospheric converted monastery cloister. Great food, relaxing atmosphere, easy parking. I've stayed in other converted monasteries in Spain. This is the best. The monastery church and guided visits are must dos.”
“Location, historical building, free parking, staff, breakfast.”

“Amazing building, wonderful atmosphere, huge rooms.”
“The hotel lives up to it's billing very old building but well renovated. Interesting to walk around. Right in the centre of Guadalupe”
