“The hostel is easy to find and very close to grocery stores as well as the city center. There was one English speaking desk clerk and he was very nice. They have a rec room with a pool table, foosball, chess and a computer for guest use. They also have a kitchen available for the guests to prepare their own food.”
“The staff was really friendly and they helped make sure all of my belongings as well as my person was safe.”
“The neighborhood was very interesting during the day, if a bit sleepy at night. I arrived after my airline had lost my baggage, and the staff were very helpful and understanding as I dealt with it.”
“Free fresh breakfast, TV, free WIFI. I didn't need to go out to buy the bus tickets. They get it for you. The food is excellent. Safe taxi.”
“Really great location, close to stuff without being too sketchy - andgreat price for such a convenient area! The proprietor is really nice,he jumped up and carried my ridiculously heavy suitcase up the stairs.Nice family-style breakfast - including an egg! (Not just the usualbread and jam!) Great hot water, bed was clean and comfy.”
“The sound proof was bad so it was noisy and disturbing.”
“Ok my second time of staying here. Pleased to report the guy on reception wasn't grumpy, he was pleasent. The woman is lovely and there's another man who speaks good English and was very helpful. I like the staff and it's always nice to be greeted by name. This time I stayed in room 305. The bed was comfortable, as were the pillows. Good shower pressure Great wifi Nicely seasoned egg in the morning to go with the rolls, jam, butter and coffee. All in all a good breakfast.”
“The WiFi is really good and they make delicious fried eggs for breakfast.”
“Have to agree about the grumpy man on reception. Maybe he's not a 'people person'? That said I had booked a single room (shared bathroom) but they were occupied, he gave me a double ensuite for the same price. I thought the hostel was lovely. Beautifully decorated with tiles. The upstairs terrance was superb. The room was decent, spacious enough with a comfortable bed and pillow (rare to find a soft pillow in Peru). Breakfast was ok, a fried egg, rolls, jam, butter and coffee. Good location, very close to Plaza De Armes and Real Plaza. Plenty of decent restaurants very close by.”
“The staff were good enough to change our room when we complained of the noise in the corridor, they promptly gave us an 'upper' story room.”
