“Fantastic service, beautiful location on the river for both the hotel and the restaurant with a short walk through landscaped gardens between the two. Great food in the restaurant. Lovely sitting room and terrace available to residents. Lovely swimming pool (it was too cold for us to use but would be lovely in Summer).”

“It was a magical place, the dining was exceptional [owner is chef], the attention to serving us was extraordinary. We were met on the private road by a young lady, who assisted us in finding the very private and secure parking near our room. The road through the large estate is not open to cars, and we were directed to the road that would take us around to the hotel building. The lady met us there, going by golf cart through the many acres, and even carried our bags up to our room for us. After settling in, we spent time in the gorgeous hotel salon before taking a lovely walk amongst creeks and wild birds to the dining room in a separate building. On a lovely terrace, we ordered coffee with cream and to our delight, the coffee arrived with a tier of pastries. We'd love to spend a week there among the wild birds in a beautiful garden sanctuary where comfort was at its best.”
