“Amazing place to stay. We had a room with lake view, it was stunning. A lot of possibilities to go into the nature for walks and trekking. The place and overall the surroundings are very relaxing. We enjoyed the stay very much. The restaurant was very good, we liked the food very much. Thank you for making our stay such a great experience.”

“The hotel was lovely! Very authentic and very relaxing. Everything was impeccably clean and beautiful. Communication was a little difficult and when I thought I order lemon tea - I ended up getting grilled lamb! Great mistake because the chef was a fantastic cook. The view was nothing less than amazing and the wildlife we got to see and hear was intriguing. We had to leave at 5am so we weren't able to stay for breakfast our last morning so the owner made sure to leave us with a bag of sandwiches, fruit and juices for our road trip back to Rome. That was unexpected & greatly appreciated!!”

“Our room, which was clean, spacious, and comfortable, had a wonderful view of Lake Barrea, very scenic. The proprietors (a husband/wife team) were very friendly and helpful. He was the gardener, porter, and chef. The meals (local Abruzzese cuisine) were absolutely marvelous - some of the best we've had in Italy! All in all, very quiet and relaxing: a great place to get away from it all!”
