“Since the reopening this is my favourite hotel during my regular business trips to Switzerland! :-) Hotel and rooms are well designed and convincing with superior quality in details: During my last visit my boss and me had an arcade game challenge on one of the hotel corridors - yes, even these are themed! The staff is extremely helpful and friendly and compliment to the overall positive experience. Normally I skip hotel restaurants, but here is the exception: the restaurant is brilliantly designed and serves surprisingly great food; the majority of guests are locals, which generally is a good sign. Even the breakfast is also well beyond 3-star quality. I don’t want to ruin the insider tip, but I can only highly recommend to make a stop at Anker! I will do for sure!”
“Definitely quirky, but this hides a seriously refurbished building. My first floor room was enormous with a great view of Mt Pilatus and literally opened onto one of the busier road intersections in Luzern, yet the soundproofing made the room completely quiet. Great breakfast with unusual elements like fresh honeycomb and, dangerously, a large bowl of smarties for kids old and young alike.”
