“The staff and owner were all so friendly and accommodating. Location at base of old town and walking distance to square. Restaurant was great and the desserts were wonderful. Breakfast was great as well. Not used to the Italian sweet breakfasts but they served fresh baked items, fruit, eggs and juice. I highly recommend this hotel.”
“Very nice hotel located in the beautiful, old part of Saluzzo. Affordable room prices. Very friendly staff, nice rooms and courtyard. Good hotel restaurant and very good breakfast. Hotel nicely located for cycling in the Piedmonte region, hotel has separate room for bikes and welcomes cyclists.”
“Very well restructured hotel. Traditional building in the old center, but fresh and modern interior. Excellent breakfast.”
“The hosts, Mario and Rosie, were wonderful, the building is well designed (beautiful remodel in a 14th century edifice) and the breakfast was delicious. Saluzzo is a lovely hill town without mobs of tourists. We have nothing but praise for the hotel and the staff. 4 stars!”
“The hotel is in excellent conditions. I have been many times in Saluzzo and this is by far the best place I've been. Everything inside the room works perfect, the room is very clean, big and comfortable, and the staff is very nice. Breakfast is also very good, with great variety of biscuits, cakes, croissant, etc.”
“Nice beautiful renovated hotel in medieval townhouse in the old town of Saluzzo. Unique spacious rooms, some with balcony, some facing the garden. Also the breakfast is very good.”
“Fabulous quiet modernized rooms in a 15th century building in the center of Old Saluzzo. It has unique rooms everywhere -- I had a 2-story room with queen bed and well-equipped bathroom (bidet and shower, no tub) up steep stairs under the rafters, plus a kitchenette downstairs with lounge area and a couch that looked like a pullout sleeper, plus a balcony overlooking the charming garden, and also, going the other way, a courtyard. Amazing. Great breakfast, which you can take out in good weather to the garden to enjoy under umbrellas. Very helpful staff, wonderful hosts in Paulo and Mario.”
“All staff friendly, clear in instructions and consistently helpful. They went out of their way, for instance, in offering to meet me from the airport bus as it was raining!”
“This is a wonderful hotel in a large medieval townhouse, lovingly renovated and tastefully appointed. The rooms are big and have both modern fixtures and their original wood vaulting; many have doors out onto the stone terrace, where flower beds grow herbs and there are tables to sit and enjoy the evening air. Breakfast is excellent -- cheeses, salumi, fruit, in addition to the usual offerings -- and you can have it on the terrace or in the charming, vaulted breakfast room. The staff are very friendly, and there is a small, quite good restaurant, run by the hotel, next door. The hotel is in the centro storico, a 2-minute walk from the shops on the main street, in an area of beautiful medieval houses, many with frescoed facades. We've come for three years, and love everything about it.”
“The staff at the hotel was exceptionally nice and helpful. They all took that extra step to help us, make us feel comfortable and sort out any trouble we may have. I looooved the little terrace where you can have breakfast in the morning.”
