“The desk clerk was very attractive, but you don't want to hear about that. It was difficult to find from the train station. Long walk with 45 kg luggage, (not their fault, my communication skills here are limited) Had help from locals, helps to know a little German. Good service, room on par with other hotels I've stayed in while in Europe. I like hotels that are not part of chains. Get more variety as each owner adds their own particular decorative touch. This hotel was colorful (which I like) as for the morning meal it was complete, and being a vegetarian in Bavaria, it wasn't that much of a challenge since there is a lovely Indian restaurant just a few blocks away.”

“We were able to receive an upgrade when our reserved room was too small to move around. The receptionist was most gracious - showing us several rooms from which to choose. Breakfast is outstanding and the staff is most agreeable. (Where are the "Gmünder" plates in the past - we miss them? Erding's Therme and Erdinger beer tour are a plus for short stays.”
