“This hotel is simply superb. The restaurant food is absolutely outstanding and ALL the staff we met couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. There is no doubt this is quite an expensive hotel and attracts discerning (and wealthy!) guests but we are 'normal'. Hence whilst people around us were buying 50euro bottles of wine each night, the staff treated us with exactly the same level of attention. Special thanks to the restaurant manager Jorg, he was brilliant, a real professional. My partner is lactose intolerant and the chef did a fantastic job of sorting this for her. We drove to Austria (highly recommended!) but you don't need a car in this area. For car enthusiasts, the underground secure parking will keep your pride and joy safe! Good quality mountain bikes were free to rent and we made use of this. The pool area is beautiful. Sitting on the balcony in full sun with a beer after a hard days hiking is one of lifes true indulgences!”
