“When my little dog hurt his back, I decided to take him with me on a road trip with my two teenage daughters. Luckily, the Bellwether is extremely pet friendly and could not have been more accommodating. The lovely ladies at the desk even offered to pet sit for a few hours so we could hike to the spectacular Oyster Dome. Food was great, room was beautiful, grounds were amazing. Loved every minute.”
“We both slept extremely well, beds were very comfortable and the room was quiet. Our waitress was not interested in her job. I decided on the breakfast provided as the menu mentioned scones and I pointed out when I ordered how much I enjoy scones. There were none on the continental table! I confronted the waitress and said why didn't you tell me when I ordered there were no scones? When I finished my breakfast the waitress appeared with scones and said they were just made by the cook which I found strange as they were not even warm. My sister ordered a la carte. She asked what kind of muffins were available, the waitress told her to go look at what was on the table. (Now that is service?) The waitress came back to our table once and my sister had to request her coffee be refilled - to which the waitress said "oh" with a tone exactly as her response implies. We regret we did not go elsewhere for breakfast!”
