“Very friendly and hospitable staff. Good location.”
“Because of a French rail strike we only had 12 hours at the hotel. The hall/lounge was pleasant. Some useful books available.”
“It's an old building in a great location close to the old town and convenient to a lot of restaurants. It's also on a quiet back street so noise wasn't an issue at all.”
“The 2 gentleman were very helpful & friendly. Parking organised right outside hotel but need to pass through a traffic light barrier system dependent on space & staff present at hotel to open barrier”
“We parked at the station public carpark which was close enough. Friendly welcome with helpful advice on somewhere to eat for a late lunch after arrival. The manager also ordered a taxi for us in the evening. Room was fine. No lifts but it did not matter for us. Chic decor. I think I noticed airconditioning in the room but we did not need it. Excellent breakfast with particularly good croissants and bread. Other items for breakfast as well but I did not try them. Gay friendly.”
“A genuinely warm welcome with truly infomative hints on the city, silent rooms, good breakfast and a relaxed overall atmosphere all contributed to a very pleasant stay”
“Very comfortable and staff friendly and very helpful”
“Very nice welcome, room was fine and air conditioning nice during an exceptionally hot period (33 degrees at 11pm!). There are slightly narrow, sloping stairs - this is an old building - but done up nicely. We appreciated the restaurant recommendations etc. It's just 5 minutes from the station (with a suitcase) and we liked the area just slightly away from the main tourist area although it's not very big place. Good shops, chemist, Monoprix and cafes nearby. Room was comfortable if plain, with shower. Clean and enough space.”
“Staff were very friendly and helpful, location good for sights, restaurants (local as well as touristy) and train/bus station”
“Pierre and Frederic were very helpful and gave us great restaurant recommendations. Our room included a small private patio. The breakfast "salon" was hospitable; we ended up in a fun conversation with some other guests there who were traveling the French countryside by bicycle.”
