“The staff were very helpful and friendly. The location was excellent. The room was really comfortable and clean. Breakfast was delicious. Can't recommend highly enough.”
“We arrived quite late and the lovely receptionist changed our room for us at the last minute because he realised we were tired and we were in a room above the bar and that it might be noisy. He even made the beds in our new room there and then for us and chatted away telling us some of the history and recommending things to do. I wish I knew his name but hopefully he will know who he is :) He really made us feel so welcome and happy to be in Reykjavik. A huge thank you to you from me and my Mum! We will be back!”

Beautiful, elegant art deco interiors, comfortable bed, brilliant toilettries (not mini bottles but full bottles of the English brand Molton Brown), great lighting in the bathroom and room itself, and perfectly located to great bars and restaurants, the harbour area and the bus stop (important as this is where tours pick you up).”

“Staff were all well presented and extremely helpful, speaking perfect English. Nothing was too much trouble, assistance with car hire, booking bus transfers to airport. Always on duty. Jamie's Italian is adjoining the hotel and perfect in bad weather conditions as you dont have to go out of the hotel. The staff kindly upgraded us as it was my birthday so we were so happy with everything, including the complimentary box of chocolates. Thank you we will return”
