“Beautiful building, great selections for breakfast.”
“Charming hotel with pretty decor. Clean, friendly staff. Nice showers.”
“Great decoration and beautiful place! The staff is great, very helpful and great restaurant recomendations. I had to change dates and the property administrator changed it almost before I asked! I recomend it 100% and definitely I will stay again.”
“This boutique hotel is an old renovated mansion with a central courtyard for dining and three levels of rooms. The details are beautiful--staircases of etched wood, antique furniture and paintings, and old fashioned balconies with French doors. At the center of the lobby is a vase with 100 roses of all colors. It is real--the flowers are changed every two weeks. But along with the old time beauty, you can find modern comfort here. The rooms have large screen TVs with cable, comfortable beds with premium bedding, and well appointed bathrooms. The staff was wonderful, and the breakfast was one of the best we had during our three week trip in South America.”
“Great location. Great breakfast. Comfortable rooms.”
“A beautifully restored Colonial house that was the former residence of Cuenca artist Gaspar Sangurima. The rooms were very comfortable. Our room had a balcony overlooking the main street but the room was remarkably quiet. The bathroom was modern with amazing showers. Breakfast was outstanding and included pastries, fruit, yoghurt, eggs to order and fruit juice. You really have to have the tree tomato juice. The staff were outstanding always making time to talk to you and give good ideas and advice. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay here again.”
“Great location. Very nice room especially for the price. The staff was very friendly.”
“I had a problem with my date of arrival and they were beyond helpful.”
“The shower was fantastic and hot and the bed was very comfy. The staff was very helpful and friendly and the granola and juices at breakfast were good. We could see the domes of the Cathedral from our room.”
“This small local hotel has it all, location in the center of beautiful downtown Cuenca, a picturesque central covered courtyard, large comfortable rooms with character, modern bathrooms (shower to die for), and a cute airy breakfast area. They had tea available all day with big mugs to take back to your room or sit and enjoy. We would love to stay here again.”
