“Nice place close to town and the beach. Staff friendly. Pool was nice, but a little cool. Get a balcony room. Worth a little extra. If in Trujillo stay here at the beach and take a taxi into the city, less than 20 mins. The beach is not the nicest, but it is worth a visit and watch the waves come in and the sunset! We spent four days here at the end of our trip. It was nice just to chill by the pool, the beach and walk into the little town.”
“Good clean rooms, with excellent wifi and a pool. Breakfast was included and a nice spot.”
“Excellent service from the moment we arrived, staff was beyond helpful and responded immediately to every request-even loaned me a tablet charger when mine bit the dust! The hotel felt safe, welcoming for a parent traveling solo with a young child, and the staff was patient with my energetic English speaking child-many learned her name and greeted her personally everyday, which she loved. Also- cleanest pool we have been in since getting to Peru five weeks ago- we were in there every day, and they skimmed for bugs at each request!”
“The food was excellent - good coffee and eggs and choices for the kids. The night we stayed in and ate there was also well above average. The price was very fair, the pool was great - the best pool we saw in Peru!”
“That hotel it's a pleasure for the eye, common areas are well kept, with plants and birds flying around. Very clean rooms and nice breakfast.”
“Very nice restaurant attached to the property which is open for lunch and dinner in addition to breakfast. Indoor and outdoor seating. All of the rooms had an outdoor seating area and many had a patio with a table and chairs. They had a clothesline for drying clothes/swimsuits. There were no screens on the windows so mosquitoes/bugs could've been a problem but weren't in May when we were there. The area around the hotel is generally quiet. The grounds are beautifully maintained and include a pool, game room, and a parking area. We really liked the location as it was close enough to the beach/waterfront area but was set back so we did not hear the traffic. Felt very safe there. The bathrooms were clean, nice towels and the bedroom had a large armoire in addition to bedside tables and a desk. The mattress and pillows were satisfactory. The front office staff were very good and helped us arrange all the taxis we needed and how to use the bus system.”
“We thought this was a really lovely, friendly hotel, very clean and relaxed and with an excellent restaurant, attractive gardens and a good swimming pool. It is very easy to travel to Chan Chan or into Trujillo by public bus or collectivo.”
“Nice staff incredibly helpful. Good breakfast. Nice pool”
“Very nice to have a balcony. Four nice options for breakfast. Enjoyed the swimming pool. Friendly helpful staff.”
“The swimming pool, the wide bathroom, the quick access to different parts of Huanchaco.”
