“This was a lovely and extremely comfortable hotel in one of the most stunning areas in Portugal. The location couldn’t be any better - situated right on the edge of the National Park there are hiking trails everywhere and the scenery is simply beautiful. The town centre with restaurants and shops is a short stroll away. Our room had a balcony overlooking the mountain, which was beautiful. It was also very quiet and peaceful with pure mountain air. Great value for money and a place I would definitely go back to.”

The personnel is nice, especially the owner of the hotel who was very kind and always available to help us with great tips for hiking / nature and typical villages. The breakfast is good in a room with a wonderful mountain view.”

Very friendly, helpful tipps from the staff (owner?) for great hiking/swimming spots! I have NEVER seen a greater natural swimming pool on a river side, including waterfall, brilliant experience!! “The staff were very friendly and always willing to help. The location was great and only a 2 min walk from the town centre, restaurants, and local supermarket. It was great that you could park your car underground in their private parking area as it ensured that your car was safe. Nice and relaxing atmosphere and a comfortable, spacious room.”
“The breakfast is quite alright with fruit, home baked cake and a selection of very good bread and amazing jams. The location is not on the main street but directly behind so not so much uphill walking. The hotel has a garage for guests so this is ideal as there's barely any parking in town. The room has a little balcony with very nice view to the surrounding mountains and also the breakfast room allows you to admire the beautiful landscape.”
