“Casa Bonay is more an ecosystem of experiences than a hotel. The enchanting Libertine space, next door's cool Satan's Coffee, and Elephant, Crocodile, Monkey, the southeastasian restaurant, conform a rich environment in which to mingle and flow. The staff is always charming and friendly. Feels more like old friends enjoying being part of a labour of love business than regular hospitality. Great shower and bed, austere and dedicated decoration. A non-pretentious environment.”
“I love how unashamedly hipster this place is! Great bars, hang out and restaurants that are part of the hotel. We got a free upgrade and the rooms were stunning! Very happy with this stay. Prices are a little steep but otherwise a great holiday.”

The breakfast was very tasty, lots of choice and excellent coffee! The tapas was also very good. The bed was large and comfortable with good pillows. Shower was excellent - hot and powerful. “We loved everything about Casa Bonay, from the warm reception staff to the surprise bottle of champagne in our room to celebrate our honeymoon, to the super comfortable bed, great shower and happening location right in the heart of Eixample. We also ate at one of their restaurants...the Elephant and Monkey (??) which was lovely. They also gave us a cool map with loads of restaurant recommendations which we made great use of! “All members of the front desk staff were outstanding. The breakfast selection was as good as we've seen for a hotel this size. For a city the size of Barcelona the location could not have been better: We were there for a week and never needed to take a taxi, we could walk or use one of Metro services which were either right outside or three easy blocks away. But as much as anything, it was the young energy of the hotel that we will remember.”

“Coffee was redic. Room and mattress were heaven. Rooms were so sound proof! ( I hate hearing neighbours - especially when they are your own friends and you have been listening to their loudness all day ;) Check out was the perfect time (no rushing out of the room still half asleep) Staff were super polite and generous, they made us feel like we were hanging out with mates - even gave my husband a birthday gift when they heard it was his birthday. We will definitely go back.”
