“Not a hotel for young people. There was just a small area with wifi in the hotel & it wasn't working when we wanted to use it. It's also not walking distance from bars & restaurants. It has beautiful views but it's probably where you go write a novel, not where you are part of the scene.”
“It's a perfect place for relax with beautiful seaview, cozy and historical atmosphere. Best much for once who want to escape crowded places and just chill out. It's very quite and wealthy neigboarhood, about 25-30 minutes walking distance to the city center. Hotel has only 8 rooms available for booking so you won't be disturb by strangers at the hotel as well, each room has an amaizing view. Staff is very friendly and helped me with all questions I had. Room was clean and had an airconditioning.”
“Room spacious with lovely views of Malagasy bay. Very clean.”
“Charming. A bit eccentric. Lovely staff and vistas. Beautiful gardens. Old meandering summer home. Large room and bathroom.”
“Most helpful and friendly staff ever, amazing building, stunning scenery. This is a very peaceful location, but still only 2.5 km from town centre. There are only 8 bedrooms in this hotel, and a huge building, so not overran with occupants!”
“We felt like we had stepped back in time to a golden era of luxury. The decor is so authentic, the gardens are a treasure and the views, stupendous! We loved our time there.”
“Great view, awesome terrace over looking Mediterranean (and Africa!). Good breakfast.”
“Nice location close to Malaga port, with beautifull view. Quiet surroundings. Building with cachet. Friendly reception.”
“The hotel's architecture and gardens are fabulous as is its setting overlooking Malaga. Staff were welcoming and helpful - they upgraded one of the two rooms we had reserved so that we could all be on the same floor. The buffet breakfast was good. Although the hotel has no restaurant (and is in a residential area with few places to eat), there are plenty of options a short drive away in Malaga. Hotel staff recommended the Plaza de Merced area where we had lots of choice in the surrounding streets.”
“Amazing hotel, full of character, with spacious rooms and a huge comfortable bed. Beautiful, quiet, gardens and superb views over the city more than make up for the distance to the city centre. Lovely staff always eager to help.”
