“The staff were always helpful, rooms were neat and clean and breakfast was tasty. It was quiet. The location was good - we were about 20 minutes to the Colosseum on foot. We did most of our Rome exploring without using public transport. Bus stops are quite near, though, and the closest subway station is about 15 minutes away. There is a train station after a 30 minutes walk that we could use to get to nearby towns. Places to eat are scattered around. Of course, if you are not OK with walking, you might find the location less ideal than we did. Overall we are very happy and can recommend Hotel Cilicia to all active travellers.”
“Quiet, comfortable hotel. Only 10 minutes walk to the bus stop(Zama)to Rome(bus 360 to Muse, only 1.50 euro single) and 15 minutes walk to the metro station(? di Roma) In fact the healthier, younger folk could walk to the centre of Roma In 45, It took us 45 minutes to walk to the Collosseum. Breakfast was the usual continental fare, meats, cheese, bread, fruit , yogurt, cereal etc, tea, coffee, juices...Bedroom and shower were good.”
