“Corona represents fair value for money in the area. I paid 30 Eur for a single room (and was given a triple). Some good points but fails in too many others – closer to a two/three star hotel than the official four. Corona is right in the middle of the town/village (of Kaplice) – the town square is a few steps away, with a few cafes and shops. The hotel has (at a cost of 50 Kc a day) its own parking, but down the raod – about 50 yards away. My room was quite clean and new-ish, beds comfortable. Enough storage space, enough power sockets, lighting was good – reading lamps and yellow lights. Large-ish flat screen TV, no English channels, HDMI input. Also had a minibar fridge which was nice. Breakfast was not great but not bad – some cold meats and cheeses, cereals, scrambled eggs and sausages/beans, coffee machine and juice, bread. Apparently the hotel read the reviews about the sweet juices - There's also a gym and a spa - did not have time to try.”
