“This was our second stay at this hotel and once again it was excellent. The hotel is very close to the beach and around 2 km from the city of La Serena. It is in a perfect location just across from the lighthouse. The breakfast is good with lots of choice and dinner in the restaurant is also good. “We had a fantastic room with a view of the ocean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is a couple of kilometres from the bus station but there is a good restaurant in the hotel and there are two nice restaurants across the road. I would definitely recommend this hotel for your stay in La Serena.”
“This brand new modern business-oriented hotel located at the lighthouse across the street from the beach, is more properly suited for those who do not need a resort style atmosphere. The breakfast is good with options but the coffee is not. Stick to the instant if you require decent coffee. The staff is efficient and cheerful and the wifi is great. You can easily walk or catch a very inexpensive cab ride to El Centro for dinner or walk along the nicely paved beach promenade. The best thing about la Serena are the many dogs that walk about so happy, content and very well behaved - they don't beg or bother, and if you're lucky they may let you pet them. They don't seem to have owners and they kinda act like they are there on vacation as well? As a side note, they kindly switched our room so we could have an ocean view - but the ocean view was a little noisy so it was a trade-off.”
