“Loved my stay here. They helped us with everything, from laundry service to paragliding to the bus ticket back to paragliding! Recommended! :-)”
“The owners are very friendly and give unbiased, free and helpful advice on trekking Annapurna. They will not try to rip you off or sell you things you do not need. Location is also great, central but quiet for a good night sleep, strong hot showers, and comfy beds. Just what you need after a few days in the mountains! ”
“The room for three was large with plenty of light. The bathroom was the best we had in Nepal. Modern, clean, hot water and everything worked well. Excellent services and recommendations made this hotel a pleasure.”
“I came back 2days before from my trek. There was no problem with changing the dates of the stay.Very friendly staff. The woman running the hotel all the time smiling and happy. Nice atmosphere.Good location, very clean rooms. The carpet was so clean and without any dirt than I did not mind to walk bare feet. Towels and sheets very clean. I think it was the cleanest hotel in all Nepal I had occasion to stay in.”
“We were so lucky to find a room at Diplomat. I booked three more nights right after the first one! The family owning and managing the place is lovely and always ready to assist you. The area is quiet at night even though you are just a short walking distance away from all the conveniences and touristic spots of the city. They even taught us how to prepare Mo-mo's and Dal-Bhat. Best place to stay in Pokhara by far!!”
“Best location and their boss very nice person and all people very good next I would like to book again .”
“Great location. Friendly family business. Large rooms with very good views. Excellent value for money.”
“The location of the hotel is excellent. Just within 2 mins we can reach the main road of Lakeside. The price is the cheapest in that area. Good value for money.”
“The owners really take pride in their home and it shows with how you're treated, how spotless the facilities are, and how well maintained the whole house is from the front garden to your room. I've stayed at Hotel Diplomat before trekking and afterwards for a total of five nights. They were very flexible on my stay and easily allowed me to add more nights (didn't want to leave!). I've stayed in two standard rooms and the deluxe room; all are very light and spacious. The deluxe has a bed that's so comfortable, I still think about it. Also, the front garden smells absolutely heavenly at night. Wonderful breakfast and masala tea. If I ever make it back to Pokhara, I know where I'm staying! ”
