“Very retro hotel, likely the best in town. Attentive staff. Small capacity, only 17 rooms over just two floors, but our 3rd floor King Suite was very good size with tall ceilings and plenty of interesting artwork hanging from the walls. It had a huge selection of items on the mini-bar, which I would term min-store. Nice happy hour offering in the lobby. Hot tub was nice, as was the view from the top of the building. Great location to bars, restaurants, parks, shopping, and entertainment.”
“The Hodo is a treat I look forward to every year when visiting Fargo for a Microsoft conference. This year I had an extra day to enjoy the Downtown shopping and eateries. So that made a nearly perfect experience even better!”

“The Donaldson has only 17 rooms, so they can do personal attention right. Because the young man at the front desk was busy, my valet, Samo, checked me in. (He even beat the elevator upstairs to show me to my room!) Both the public spaces in the hotel and the rooms feature the work of local artists. (And there's even gallery lighting to show it off.) The rooms are spacious and very tastefully appointed. All in all, the Donaldson was a superb choice.”
