“This was an authentic Black Forest Chalet! The rooms were huge! My room had a bedroom, living room, bathroom and a little reading corner with an outside entrance. The bedroom had a door that opened onto a balcony. I loved the wood panelling, and the alpine decor. The breakfast was wonderful! Each room had a binder that had information about the area, including hospitals, doctors, tailors, and laundry services. There was an indoor pool and a sauna.”
“The breakfast was wonderful, the staff attentive, and our room was quiet and comfortable. One of the owners is an Italian chef, and the three dinners we had there were all excellent. The sauna and pool are well maintained and a real pleasure after a day of hiking in the area.”

“Huge room with shared balcony, even large for US standards. The bathroom was so clean it looked like we were the first people to use it- amazing shower. The decor and finishings were beautiful - definitely a lot of care and thought was put into this hotel. Modern amenities with old world charm. I would recommend having dinner there at least once as the food was excellent. The owner was available all the time and she spoke perfect English so it made our stay so much easier.”

“We got 2 big units with balconies which matched our couple+ teenager case, for a reasonable price. Breakfast was very rich and optional dinner just for 26 EUR was helpful. Family is very friendly. Location is great - 1h drive to any direction in Black Forest, Alsace or Switzerland.”
