“This is hands down the best place to stay in Punta Arenas, which the tour books do not rave enough about. We knew the hotel would be cool but it blew us away when we actually got there. I loved hanging out at the infinity pool, looking out at the Straits of Magellan, then taking a relaxing steam bath or sauna and a rainforest shower to top it all off. The Sky Bar is out of sight for views and reasonable prices. The hotel is close to most everything of touristic interest -- the main square, the top museums (except Nao Victoria which is way out of town), the Municipal Market which has great seafood restaurants, and the coast walk which is of interest itself, not least for the tromp l'oeil art and esp on a sunny Sunday when the whole town turns out.”
