“This is a wonderful location and a charming hotel with some Italian grandeur. The small town is beautiful and has a number of nice restaurants on the doorstep of the hotel. The private lakeside area is perfect and the staff were great.”

“The staff of this small hotel was extremely friendly and welcoming. The view from the room was just great. The bed was very comfortable and the recently renovated modern bathroom was impeccably clean. Robes were provided and a private access to the water with deckchairs was provided for guests. Situated on the main square, the hotel is within walking distance of the cute traditional fishing village of Mergozzo. There were plenty of dining options along the lake and even a birreria and a vine bar with great views.”

Go and visit nearby Lake Maggiore which is busy, then return to peaceful lake Mergozzo and enjoy an aperitivo on the hotel's terrace overlooking the tranquil lake. Hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful. Rooms are very clean & comfortable.”
