“excellent location in the town, wonderful view of the mountains, very helpful”
“The room was comfortable and on the larger side to most we had stayed in. We had a balcony with a view of the Matterhorn. The room had tea and coffee making facilities and a mini bar. The bed was comfortable and the shower hot. No Lift but the stairs were easily navigated. The buffet breakfast which was included in our room was extensive and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel Dufour guests have access to a sister hotels Spa and heated pool area between 4-7pm during their stay, this was a bonus after hiking the mountains. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Zermatt and Hotel Dufour Alpine.”
“Good breakfast, good staff. I liked the skylight in the bathroom. ”
“Spectacular views from the balcony. If you wake up at 6 a.m., you could see the Matterhorn sunrise.”

“Really warm and friendly welcome and reception, very spacious room with balcony and plenty of windows. Wonderful breakfast. My favourite hotel in three weeks around Europe. Feels like a family-run hotel - wouldn't hesitate to choose again!”
“Nice view in the dining area. Free taxi service on demand to the train station (almost immediately upon request). We had south facing room with balcony looking at Matterhorn. It was amazing! In the morning, you can see the sunshine slowly covering the entire mountain. ”
