“Location was great next to river, close to castle and in middle of old town. Rooms are spacious and extremely well renovated and modernised without losing 'old world charm'. Nice to have toilet separate from bathroom. Reduced parking fee available from hotel.”

“The location was perfect with lovely views over the river & castle. It was only a short walk from car park 1 (best place to park) therefore avoiding pulling suitcases over the cobbled streets for a great distance.( we witnessed many people struggling to do this) Our room was on the 3rd floor and was very spacious with views over the river & castle. There is no lift. Climbing the stairs was no problem for us but it could be if you had large suitcases to carry. The buffet breakfast was very good and we enjoyed sitting out on terrace to have it.”

“We booked a view room - lovely castle and river view! Large old room, but clean. The check in staff was not helpful at all. She didn't even tell us one thing about the hotel or what we might be able to do that night, hence we missed a few things that would have been interesting to do. The ghost tour (free) and also possibly see a show at the revolving theatre. The hotel breakfast was ok, nothing special and again the young staff basically stood around talking to each other.”
