“if the mussels are on the menu, have them, everyone in our group loved them and have tried them twice again else already and these are by far the best. lovely little place, bathrooms small but big enough to do the job. Clean full of atmosphere. Restaurant shut due to winter but you don't need it best the bar food is so good.”

“We had lovely rooms in the main hotel with views of the Loch and enjoyed dinner in the bar both nights of our stay, and we're lucky enough to listen to a music session on Sunday evening. The traditional Scottish breakfast was great too. The staff were really welcoming and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.”
“The staff were very friendly and helpful. The pub was welcoming with very quick service. It was warm and cosy especially when the open log fire is going and the live music from the talented locals created a great atmosphere. The bar meals were delicious and warm with generous portion sizes and there is a good selection of breakfast choices. Nice traditional buildings with historic features which is a nice change from standard modern hotels. The bed was comfortable and the shower was powerful, plenty of clean towels supplied. There are also dressing gowns, an additional duvet and a hairdryer in the room. Nice touch was the free whiskey on arrival. The location offers beautiful scenery and its worth getting out of bed early to catch the sun rising over the loch. There are great local walks if you are prepared to wrap up warm and brave the elements but its worth it to return to the pub for some of their soup and bread.”
