“The hotel is conveniently located a short drive from the basilica and other sights. We stayed just the one night in a small but comfortable room. During the day time, the hotel's restaurant is busy and lively with numerous visitors, including coach parties, but very much quieter in the evening. However, we enjoyed our tasty and generous sized portions for an evening meal in the conservatory restaurant with its view up towards the basilica. Breakfast was equally tasty and generously proportioned. The staff were all very pleasant.”

“The room was very comfortable and the hotel was quiet and very clean. We ate at their restaurant and the meal was so delicious. We had a steak and it was cooked to perfection and the portions were very generous. The breakfast the next day had eggs cooked to order , bacon, as well as toast and freshly squeezed orange juice. The coffee was also very good and we were offered a second cup without asking for it!”
