“Situated on the approach road to the 16th century town of Elorrio this is the closest hotel for those wishing to eat at Asador Etxebarri, Michelin starred and rated #6 in the world. Acres of parking in front of the hotel which is set back off the road. Delightful, friendly front desk and housekeeping staff. Simple, clean, comfortable accommodation, large bed, big windows, heavy curtains. Bathroom was adequate, good shower. The 5 minute walk into the charming old town was delightful. Elorrio is full of bars especially around the plaza in front of the church.”

“Extremely helpful Reception staff - Iratxe and Aitor specifically. Bad weather was causing internet connection issues so Iratxe arranged for us to use the Reception computer (we were flying next day and needed to confirm collection from Heathrow airport) and the hotel's email address and ensured we got the reply as soon as it arrived, which made for a relaxed evening's stay for us. Our room was huge and view from the window of the hills was lovely. Salad was picked fresh from the garden.”

“I can not rate the staff highly enough. I had some car trouble and they were excellent is sorting it out. I left it too late to go to the restaurant on the Sunday but as some cyclists were having dinner there, they made me some too. The room was huge. Could have slept 4 in there so I rattled around.”
