“We have stayed in this hotel before and liked it so decided to use it again for a couple of nights. Since our last stay, it has had a complete refurbishment and our room now has a new, modern bathroom, a great improvement on the previous "over bath" shower with no curtain so it was impossible to use. (Having said that, the door to our new shower cubicle did not fit properly so we flooded the floor!) The bed was blissfully comfortable, and the whole hotel was decorated in beautiful taste and looked really elegant. There was a good selection at breakfast with options for cooked dishes which appeared really quickly. We chose a room overlooking the river as there is always something to watch and thought a front room might be a bit noisy. There are so many good restaurants around within very easy walking distance that it was difficult to choose! It is possible to take a ferry to the Iles de Lerins close by, and a visit to the Castle is a must.”
