“There is a wide choice of food for breakfast in quiet spacious surroundings. In particular we enjoyed the salad items, fresh fruit, crispy bacon, attractive looking eggs, mushrooms and grilled tomato flavoured with herbs. The hotel is minimal in style and everything very clean and well thought out. The hotel is close to both rail and bus stations and overlooks an interesting marina with more distant views of marshes and estuary. The rooftop swimming pool is a good size. We found out that you can pay a deposit of €10 to borrow a towel to use during your stay while using the pool.”

The lady in the bar was delightful and all the staff were exceptional, the gym was well equipped and of a very high standard. We ate in the restaurant and it was one of the best meals we had in Portugal. Breakfast was great.”
