Situated in Piazza Rosseli, right across the Stazione ferroviaria and the bus terminal, The Fortuna Hotel offers guests without a personal means of transport ( like us) the opportunity of travelling all over with minimum stress: you cross the street and you jump onto the train/bus! Also, it is not far from the main attractions of Ancona- about 1.5- 2 km away. The sound insulation is adequate and absolutely necessary for a hotel with this location, hence the good quality of sleep. They were considerate about our request for a room with a 'balconcino', as we wanted a place to have a fag. Good coffee.”

“The hotel was located across the road from the railway station and as we were catching a train to The Cinque Terre the next day this was very convenient. The breakfast was excellent. The wifi was not reliable. There was no tea or coffee making facilities. The area was not upmarket but adequate for our needs as we only stayed overnight on transit from Croatia to Cinque Terre.”
