“Very small hotel with no staff after 5pm. I arrived at 6pm and property was already locked . Had to phone owner to get a pin for a safe on the back of the property to get the key to my room. Room was very basic with dirty wall and shaggy carpet from 60s. Really not worth the price. Instructions left in the room were all in German had to ring owner again about the heater as room was freezing cold. The only positive in this hotel was the receptionist the next morning. He was very friendly and helpful. He offered to walk me to the tram which was a really nice gesture”
“Hotel Fuchs is a special hotel in Saarbrücken and it is one of the better options. All rooms are individual and spacy. The interior is a bit old and outfashioned but the room was large.”
“Nice clean place, good showers and little or no noise from neighboring rooms (I might just have been lucky there, though). The breakfast is OK, but nothing fancy, e.g. don't expect an omelette or some such.”

“Very nice suite, if a little small. Lovely bed and pillows. Great shower. Right in the centre of Saarbrucken with many restaurants close by. Breakfast was good with lots of fresh products. Pretty place but so very impersonal. It is a small hotel and understandable that there isn't a 24 hr reception. However, it would have been nice if they had taken just some more bother as we arrived at the arranged time. Being honend to tell us that they were off to the market and the key was in the safe, is not good service for the price paid.”
