“Wow, what a delightful hotel in a very picturesque city. The owners poured a lot of love and effort into this little boutique hotel. Wein Quadrat, meaning wine squared is a perfect stay for a romantic getaway, a business trip or even a holiday. The village is in the heart of the wine and apricot country. The rooms are large and done in a Tyrolean motiv, with wooden flooring and walk in showers. A lovely little bottle of local Apricot juice awaits your arrival. The breakfast is fantastic and your room has a reserved seating in the breakfast room. The owners are incredibly welcoming and accommodating. Fresh produce and regional delicacies grace the breakfast buffet. Definitely try the eggs with pumpkin seed oil (Styrian specialty)”

“This is an absolutely delightful, smaller hotel, just off of the main road. We found it to be very quiet and very comfortable. The hosts are wonderful, and breakfasts are fantastic. Clearly, this is a region in which to try wines. There is a wine/information booth about a block away that offers tastings from a different vintner each day. That is not too be missed. The church on the hill in the middle of town is also well worth a look. For wine lovers, simply walking through the hillside vineyards is a wonderful way to start or finish the day.”
