“Highly recommend this place. It was really close to the gondola. You had the use of the main hotel's onsen which was fantastic and the hotel provided a shuttle service from the bus station. The room is comfortable and you are provided with a welcome pack including breakfast food. The room also has a kitchenette which was great for making food. There is a coin laundry in the building which was very useful.”
“Staff were wonderfully helpful. The Onsen and massage chairs were sensational (free Onsen and 100 yen a pop for massage chair). Restaurant food was very good and lovely atmosphere.”

“The room was roomy for japanese standards a couple of large beds with a functional bathroom, right at the center of town and close to the bus terminal and happo ski field. ski lockers on ground level were a great touch and we made good use of the shared coin laundry facililities. Staff are located at the main hotel but never failed to be helpful. Fantastic Sauna and Onsen is also at the main hotel and is better than a few of the paid onsens in town. overall a great stay”

“Easy 6 min walk with ski boots on to chairlifts that will take you to top rather than using the gondola that's an additional 5 minutes walk up a slightly steeper hill. Easy 5 minute walk to Happo bus terminal. The onsen at the main lodge is good. It's a basic hotel exactly as advertised. Good location in the middle of Happo village.”
