“Staff spoke more English than we expected. Not very much but enough for us to be understood. As always when travelling in Japan we use trains and the hotel was a nice 5 minute walk from the station. Room was more spacious than usual.”

“The room was much larger than the usual Japanese hotel. We got a very good price for the room including the breakfast. Good breakfast and friendly staff. We shipped our suitcases in the morning from Shinano-Omachi to the hotel as we didn't want to drag our heavy suitcases along the Alpine route. They kept them nicely for us until we arrived in the evening.”
