“Nice staff; unfortunately we arrived too late due to significant flight delay coming in to be transported to the hotel by their Airport shuttle as initially planned, as the driver had a pre-booked early drive which was fair enough; taxi from the airport was Euro50 so budget for that ! The Owner did drive us in in the morning though which was really helpful and cheaper, and we got some insight into the hotel and area; situated on a lake with an outdoor music area; bit bleak in a rainy September but probably lovely in good weather.”

“The owners are really nice!, quite helpful with requests and info. The place is really nice to have a good night rest and enjoy a stroll through the fields. You can reach Amsterdam by bus which has a stop quite close and with good frequencies. The hotel is conveniently located if you plan to move around different places but it may be a bit far if your main destination is Amsterdam - the bus takes around an hour.”

“Lydia and Thon were delightful - felt more like visiting family than staying in a hotel. Very helpful. Hotel was very quiet, and the view over the lake in the mornings was superlative! Breakfast was plentiful and there was always plenty of choice of cereals and bread and eggs and slices of meat and fresh coffee - easy to pig out! It's out of Amsterdam but there are regular buses. The town is very quiet.”
