“I can't say enough good things about Hotel Herold; the hotel is charming and the staff is amazing. My friend and I were there for the annual trek of Lipizzaner colts down from their summer mountain pasture and a visit to the nearby Piber Lipizzaner stud. The owner's son was extremely helpful, suggesting a scenic route to St. Stefan ob Stainz and nearby areas as well as providing directions to a nearby location where the colts are "decorated" with flowers (wonderful experience!!). Food in the restaurant was superb, especially the local mushrooms in cream sauce with pork medallions and potato croquettes (also suggested by the owner's son).”

“Wir waren mit unserem Aufenthalt im Hotel Herold mehr als zufrieden. Zimmer sehr geräumig und sehr sauber. Sogar ein Lift ist vorhanden. Am Frühstücksbüffet war alles vorhanden, auch frisch gepresster Orangensaft, Joghurt, frische Früchte. Wir wurden auch gefragt, ob wir ein Spiegelei oder weichgekochtes Ei wünschen. Auch die Bedienung und die beiden Chefs waren sehr freundlich und aufmerksam.”
